The Strategic Tie-up

Founded in the year 1957, All India Management Association (AIMA) is an apex body of management with over 30,000 individual members, 3000 institutional members and 60 Local Management Association across India and overseas.

DIET is now a strategic academic partner and intends to undertake a host of management related activities and initiatives such as Management Development Programmes, Special Conferences, Research & Publications, Testing Services and Competitions.

Through this partnership, DIET chooses to leverage on the robust relationships within the AIMA framework in terms that DIET is also represented on a number of policy making bodies of the Government of India and a number of National bodies / organizations. Some important ones which DIET targets for the academic year 2011 - 2012 are as under:

1. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which is the apex regulatory body for professional education in the country under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Government of India.

2. Council of Institute of Applied Manpower Research

3. Boards of Governors, Indian Institutes of Management (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore and Kozikode)

4. Bureau of Indian Standards, New Delhi

5. National Productivity Council, New Delhi

6. Central Direct Taxes Advisory Committee
