• DIET Youth Red Cross has been inaugurated by chief Guest Dr. P.Shyam Prasad,Superintendent,KGH and conducted an awareness program on ANEMIA
• DIET organized a Faculty Empowerment workshop, Mission 10x by Wipro from 30/04/2012 to 04/05/2012.The chief guest for the valedictory function is Dr.G.Tulasi Ram Das, Hon'ble vice chancellor,JNTUK   
• DIET CII-Yi MBA student chapter co-organized a technical "Workshop on e-Commerce" with collaboration from IEEE student branch by Dr. Valli Kumari the Head of Department CSE, AU College of Engineering for Women on 12/04/2012.
• DIET CII-Yi MBA student chapter co-hosted the annual day function of Young Indians (Yi), the youth wing of CII at Port Kalavani auditorium on 11/04/2012.
